A Good Read In The Mead

Are your neighbours online?  If not, how about picking them up a printed edition of The Mead? It’s FREE and July’s is now available at centres around Southmead: Southmead Community Centre, SCART Shop, Greenway Centre, Southmead Health Centre, Greenway GP Practice, Southmead Children’s Centre, St Stephen’s Church, St Vincent’s Church, Kingsholm Church, Bethany Church, Pentecostal Church, and in some shops and cafes.  They will also come home in pupils’ book-bags from Badock’s Wood School and Fonthill School.

If you’d like to Volunteer to deliver The Mead to ALL the houses in your street then please get in touch. We can reserve a batch for you to collect from the Greenway Centre each month, open Monday to Friday 8am – 10pm, and Saturday to Sunday 9 am – 5 pm.

Please keep your stories and letters coming, you can upload them @www.themead.org.uk and self-publish at any time. Please get in touch with us if you’d like some help.  The Mead Pop-Up desk is open this Friday 11am – 2pm, in the Cafe at Greenway. You can bring your hand-written items along for us to type in, or we can show you how.
