Badock’s Wood Community Routes Project

What is Badock’s Wood Community Routes Project?
This project has been put together by Southmead Development Trust and Friends of Badock’s Wood.  It aims to improve walking facilities in and around Badock’s Wood and connect it with the facilities at the Greenway Centre such as the Greenhouse Café and toilets.
We would like to improve these routes by:
•    more information notice boards
•    replacement way markers
•    stile improvements between the Greenway Centre and Badock’s Wood
•    new interpretation boards.
We have been chosen to receive a share of the Co-op Local Community Fund in 2018.
So far we have been allocated nearly £1400 of the Fund but we would like to have more to pay for the project.

How the Co-op Local Community Fund works
Every time a Co-op member shops, 1% of what you spend on selected own-brand products and services goes into the Local Community Fund.

The money raised in Westbury on Trym and Stoke Lane Co-ops and the Co-op Funeralcare in Westbury on Trym will be given to local projects such as this Badock’s Wood Community Routes.

The proportion each project receives is decided by members’ votes. If you are a Co-op member, please log into your account or telephone and vote for the Badock’s Wood Community Routes project:

If you are not a member of the Co-op you can join by paying £1, and you will receive a 5% reward on your Co-op own brand purchases and more.
