Next week it’s International Women’s Day with the main concentration of events in the City Centre on Saturday 11th. Here at Greenway we’re going to celebrate during our usual coffee morning on Thursday 9th – 10am – 12pm. Along with tea, cake, and lots of chat, we’re going to raise a cup to one of Southmead’s most inspirational women, Kathy Glover, who passed away before Christmas.
Kathy epitomised community, companionship and kindness and was certainly a woman to emulate.
Everyone is welcome and if you have time and like baking, then do feel free to bring something along to share.
