Falling Leaves By Dawn Payne

As the leaves begin to fall twirling down to make Mother Nature’s newest gown reddish brown

And copper glow makes the morning dew shine on crunchy leaves underfoot a carpet

Chirping birds in the trees still happy with their lot know the Lord will feed their needs as he does ours

What a wonderful time Autumn is for farmers to reap what they have sown

I can see a little Robin in the tree

What a lovely song he sings although winter will soon freeze his tiny wings

What joy they bring whatever the weather

The Lord I think is very clever

What a lovely time of year

Just around the corner is time of Cheer

Christmas is near.
