Have Your Say on Plans to Build Affordable Housing on the Former White Hall Site in Southmead

We would like to hear your thoughts on proposals for a new housing development on the site of the former White Hall at Glencoyne Square, Southmead.

In 2019, Homes England awarded Bristol City Council £3.6 million to support the delivery of the community-led Southmead Masterplan, which was developed to help guide regeneration in Southmead.

We will be using the money to fund the design of the residential planning application for the former White Hall site. The money will also be used to provide much-needed improvements to the Embleton Road Play area, including new, inclusive, and accessible play equipment.

The proposal is for a development of twenty-three homes which will include a mixture of one, two and three bed apartments. All the homes will be council-owned homes and 100% affordable.

You now have a chance to have your say on the proposals for the site. A consultation is currently open and will run until Monday 12 February 2024.
