Meaders, Make Your Mark

The Dunmail Community Corner is an arts project commissioned by United Communities Ltd to provide free art sessions for community groups and schools in Southmead. Each session will be an opportunity for people to create a print, drawing, painting, story or a piece of wall art that they can feel proud of.

Why Dunmail Community Corner?

An exciting new housing development is happening on the old Dunmail School site called Elderberry Walk providing housing for Meaders and newcomers to the area.  Bristol artists Grace, Anna & Luke would like to include your ideas and your stories about the area in the final design for a painting on the corner of Dunmail Road and Lanercost Road.

How can you get involved?

Look out for our posters advertising art sessions around the area.  Come along to the Southmead Festival on July 6th at the Greenway Centre, where we’ll be inviting you to join in making a giant collage. You can contact Anna by email: annahaydockwilson@icloud.com, or phone 07957 252 239.

Something for everyone

We’ll be exhibiting the work made by local people at a summer event where we’ll do some more arts activities and share our design ideas with you – details to be confirmed.
