New! Kintsugi Hope Wellbeing Group

St Stephen’s Church will be hosting their fourth Kintsugi Hope Wellbeing Group starting in September.

A Kintsugi Hope Wellbeing Group is a twelve-week course looking at positive emotional and mental health, offering a place to learn strategies to help you manage your own stress and wellbeing, whilst making real friendships.

Kintsugi is the ancient Japanese art of mending broken pottery with gold. The gold brings attention to the cracks bringing a new beauty to the mended bowl.

Kintsugi teaches us that it is in our scars that we can find the most treasure. The circumstances we have lived through make us who we are, and the lessons we learnt from the hardest times can be the most precious things we know.

Kintsugi Hope Wellbeing Groups provide a welcoming and inclusive place to where you can find the treasure in your life’s scars.

The next Kintsugi Hope Wellbeing Group will be on Friday afternoons, starting on the 8th of September.

If you would like to find out more about the group, or sign up to come along, please contact Andie Fowler, tel: 07871 707 262 or John Gardiner, tel: 07954 150 180.
