Robin Hood’s in The Mead!

The Southmead Players are a new Community Theatre group founded by me and supported by the Southmead Development Trust at the Greenway Centre.

The Trust has kindly given us space to rehearse since September, and this has introduced new people to the Greenway Centre and allowed the production to operate right in the heart of the community – it’s a panto by residents for the community.

Our version of Robin Hood is full of humour, and it has some musical numbers that have been reconstructed to work with our show – the story in a fun and original way that the whole family can enjoy.

It’s Robin Hood with a twist, with a Sheriff of Nottingham take-over!  There will also be audience interaction so everyone can join in.

So come and join us on Saturday 20th January 2024, at 12pm, on the Main Hall stage at the Greenway Centre.  We would love to know how many people are coming and so you can book your ticket on Eventbrite if you have digital access.  You just need to go to the Eventbrite website which is www.eventbrite.co.uk and search for ‘Robin Hood Pantomine’, the tickets are free of charge.

If you don’t use the internet, you can let us know you are coming by leaving a message for Eve, Community Development Worker at the Greenway Centre, please add your name and telephone number to the message.

We are also recruiting Merry Men and Merry Women as extras with minimal lines. If you are interested in being an extra, or if you have any general questions please get in touch.
