Singing For Lung Health – Wednesdays 1:00pm at Greenway Centre

Breathing . . . we all do it, all the time and only think about it when something goes wrong!

Surprisingly singing can help us all, regardless of whether we have a star voice or not.  One of the secrets is learning when and how to take a breath.  Imagine – this is free and on hand in the Greenway Centre Activity Room every Wednesday from 1pm to  2pm.  All you need is yourself and possibly a sense of humour!  We sing a range of songs – whatever the group chooses – Beatles, Disney, Sea Shanties, folk songs . . . it changes all the time.

Led by Jules, a professional singer, we learn where to breathe and how to extend a breath, plus Jules checks our sitting posture and away we go with tuneful fun songs.

Come along and try it in an informal happy environment – you might enjoy it!
