Team Southmead are hosting their very first event – Welcome To Southmead. This is for the whole community to come together and perhaps meet new residents for the first time. We would like everyone to bring and share a plate of their favourite food (my mother-in-law’s trifle) and get to know each other. There will be an opportunity for residents (ex-Meaders as well) to see the film of the Meadows to Meaders project with clips from the performance day back in July. There will also be something about the history of Southmead so that new residents can see how Southmead began. Please come along to the Community Centre on Greystoke Avenue on Sunday 3rd December for from 1-5pm.
