Kick it Out for Girls: We’re Hiring a Freelance Kickboxing Instructor

Are you a qualified kickboxing instructor? Do you believe that exercise is therapeutic? Would you like to have a positive impact on the wellbeing and safety of young women?

Southmead Development Trust are looking for an instructor for Kick It Out – our all girls kickboxing group for girls aged 11-14.

This is a trial project, providing a safe space for therapeutic kickboxing to build confidence, improve mental health, and reduce the risk of harm. This was identified as a valuable and wanted space by a group of girls who had accessed our Children and Young People’s Social Prescribing service, Link Forward.

Where: Greenway Centre, Southmead, BS10 5PY

When: 2 hours per week on a weekday after school. Term times only, over three 10 week terms. Day to be agreed. Delivery will start week commencing April 17th.

Pay: £25 per hour
