Neighbours Connect Southmead has been supporting some of the most isolated people in our community since the start of this year.
We met Kevin, one of our participants, early on in the project and it’s fantastic to see how much his life has changed since being involved.
Kevin is now part of various local groups and has met people in his community. His confidence and motivation has grown and he is getting a sense of what he wants to do in his life.
Once a week, he meets up with Neighbours Connect Southmead’s volunteer, Julie, to enjoy the peace and quiet of Badock’s Woods with Julie’s dog Ocean.
