The sorry mess surrounding academics and pensions has really made me think. You can’t take out what you don’t put in. If you do, then someone else has had to make up the difference. This is so true with work in the community. Everything from The Festival, Team Southmead, and The Mead rely heavily on volunteer input. Without such input everything grinds to a halt.
We are thankful for those who put in all the hard work for the Pocket Park. I understand some people don’t like it. My response is this ‘if you don’t put in you can’t take out’. Join in and make a difference.
